O Tannenbaum O Tannenbaum!I need to get a pickle to place in the tree. Our one that we had for years smashed when the cat decided she wanted to play in the tree last Christmas. This year we want to start an old German tradition and have the boys find the pickle and who ever finds it gets to open a gift first. Mana doesn't think that's a good idea. Bubba loves it so Mana said he's got to look for it with his glasses off. That makes it fair, so he thinks. Kids...

how beautiful. I have a pickle, but didn't put it up this year, i sort of scaled back and didn't open all boxes of ornaments. I just remembered it when you mentioned the pickle. :) have a blessed Christmas
